Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
Paul is the writer of the book:
“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God”
Declaration of His apostleship
Authority: “the will of God”
Must know our authority!

Called our Hope:

Life in the Savior:

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Jesus is the Gift and Giver of Eternal Life:

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Grace: God Giving Me What I do Not Deserve.
Mercy: God Not Giving Me What I do Deserve
Peace: God Giving Me What is Beyond My Understanding
